Val believes in the power of three. To start, she prides herself on bringing her own brand of VAL-ue (insert smile), action, and loyalty to all of her clients. But she also brings to the table another unique combination of three that’s hard to find in a single agent. In addition to being a REALTOR®, she has a deep knowledge of all things finance from banking and lending to common “cents.” Val worked in the Cedar Valley banking industry for years and has her finance degree from the University of Iowa. She also holds a masters in student services from UNI, which makes her quite gifted at working with people of all ages.

Val and her husband, Todd, who works at VGM and Associates, purchased both of their homes through Oakridge. That experience prompted Val to join Oakridge. Now Val prides herself on extending the same high quality service and advice  to her clients. In particular, she’s discovered she’s a great match for first-time home buyers. “That just happened naturally. We go out for the day and look at homes and neighborhoods and even garages. People love their garage space around here, and I love helping them find it.”
