September Stats
In September, homes listed by an Oakridge Realtor® sold for an average price of $221,972 in an average of 19 days on market. Compared to our area average list price of $216,559 and 29 days on market. As the season starts to change don't let that cause hesitation if you are looking to buy or sell your home in the Cedar Valley. One Campus. One Community. Vote November 5th!
The Waterloo Community School District (WCSD) is planning for the construction of a unified high school campus that would bring East and West High School students in grades 10-12 together on one new campus. The new facility would be placed on the same campus as the Waterloo Career Center to provide state-of-the-art educational resources and infrastructure for every high school student in the district.
On November 5, 2024, residents in the WCSD have the opportunity to vote on whether or not to use sales tax to build the campus. Authorizing the use of the 1% local option sales tax ensures that property taxes will not be raised to pay for the $165M project. Learn more about One Campus. One Community here.
