Troy OIson’s path to becoming a real estate agent gives him a unique perspective in the Cedar Valley. After graduating from UNI with a degree in finance, he worked for Disney World in Florida. It’s there he learned about hospitality and customer service from one of the industry leaders. He also learned that paying attention to people’s stories is important, and it’s one of the aspects of real estate he enjoys the most. Troy joined Oakridge in 2018. His clients embrace the way he focuses on the little details and leverages the support and knowledge of his fellow Oakridge agents as he negotiates the best deals. Outside of the office, Troy is involved in Nazareth Lutheran Church, the Cedar Trails Partnership, and The Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau.
