Quarter one of the 2023 year of officially complete! As we inch closer to warmer temps, our team is starting to see more home come on the market in the Cedar Valley. In today's blog post we are updating you on what you should know about the housing marketing, monthly top performers, and quarterly top performers.
Here is what you need to know about the Cedar Valley's housing market.
1. We are starting to see more activity in the market for sellers and buyers. In March, homes sold with an Oakridge Realtor sold for 3% MORE and 16 days FASTER when compared to homes sold by others in the Cedar Valley (MLS).
2. Cedar Valley Inventory - Take a look at 2023 compared to 2019 inventory of homes. Compared to a normal year (prior to the pandemic), the Cedar Valley's housing inventory has not fully recovered to meet the demand of buyers in our community. If you are looking to sell your home, you are in a great position. Low inventory = more exposure for your home.
3. 3% List to Sale Difference When Selling Your Home: When selling your home who you list with matters! 3% might not seem like a lot when selling, but here is what it actually adds up to. That is extra money that can go toward anything you might need!
